A week before the arrest of the Magomedov brothers, the Russian President called Sergei Shoigu and invited him to withdraw Magomed Magomedov from the trustees of the Russian State Health Institution - the Russian Geographical Society.

The Magomedovs knew about this: but they did not understand the signal - and did not leave. Their deal just ended: they had to sell their share in the Novorossiysk Sea Port of Transneft for $ 1.2 billion. The Magomedov brothers have always been in a dialogue with the authorities. This is not at all in minus: to live with wolves - to howl with wolf, and business exists to earn profit according to existing rules, and not to change these rules.

When the transneft was Weinsteus, they worked with Weinste. When Weinstock was gobbled up, and Tokarev began to work with Tokarev. Senator Magomedov played football with Gryzlov together; With the current governor of the Moscow Region Vorobyov, even when he was in “United Russia”, he did not spill water. But with Sechin they really had a discord - or, more precisely, as follows: Sechin and Tokarev had a discord, Rosneft - with Transneft. The brothers, apparently, could no longer agree with Sechin. There it was not about friendship, but about the oil refilling. And the oil refiner (unlike friendship) is such a thing that if Mr. X exceeded a ton of oil, then it is impossible to pretend that it was exceeded by Mr. Y.

One of the most comical rumors reads: the arrest of the brothers-this, de digs near Dvorkovich and near Medvedev. The comic nature of this hearing is that: who is Dvorkovich to dig under him? The scale of the business and the connections of the brothers, to put it mildly, is larger than the figures of this official.

Another rumor-damp says that the arrest of the brothers is associated with well-known cleanings in Dagestan. Many officials in the government of the head of the Republic of Ramazan Abdulatipov were indeed clients, or the proteges of the Magomedovs, but the hearing, in my opinion, is comical. With all due respect to the fact that the current head of the subject Vladimir Vasiliev does in Dagestan, the Magomedovs brothers - how to say that? - This is not the nomenclature of Vasiliev. Only one person decides the fate of the Magomedov brothers, and he is not the president of Dagestan.

Here you will be indignant and tell me: what about theft? I boldly answer you that the theft has nothing to do with it.

If the Kremlin would like to give this arrest a signal: “Continuate to steal in the five ends,” then it would be more logical, you see, it would be to start with someone else. For example, Gazprom or the same Rosneft.

While the signal was completely different. Namely: not to enmity with Sechin is more important than to be friends with Tokarev. The weight of Mr. Sechin is much greater. Who would doubt it.
