A court in Moscow extended the arrest of Vyacheslav Shatrovsky, who was detained on November 5

The Tverskoy District Court extended until September 22 the arrest of Vyacheslav Shatrovsky, who was detained in Moscow on November 5, 2017 and charged with using violence against a policeman. It is reported by the Moscow City News Agency.

The preliminary hearing in the Shatrovsky case will continue on April 11.

Shatrovsky was detained during the "revolution" of Vyacheslav Maltsev on November 5th. According to investigators, while checking documents, Shatrovsky “out of hooligan motives” hit a policeman, after which he was forced to use force against him and detain him. The man was charged under Part 1 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code.

Shatrovsky himself claims that on November 5 he stood in Novopushkinsky Square and was waiting for his son to give him a bag. After the police approached the man and began to check his documents, Shatrovsky's son, Maxim, appeared, and one of the policemen chased him. Shatrovsky Sr. stood up for his son, in response to which the policeman threw him over his shoulder. Vyacheslav Shatrovsky received an open craniocerebral injury and multiple bruises of the soft tissues of the head.

The diagnosis was confirmed by the doctors of the Sklifosovsky Institute, where Shatrovsky was taken from the police department. Later, Shatrovsky was helped to remove the stitches from his head in the hospital, not by medical workers, but by cellmates in the pre-trial detention center
