A picketer with a cardboard deputy Slutsky was again detained at the State Duma

Alena Popova, an activist, was detained outside the State Duma building in Moscow, standing in a single picket with a cardboard figure of deputy Leonid Slutsky, who was accused of harassment by several journalists. This was reported to OVD-Info by her friend, human rights activist Margret Satterwaite.

On April 2, Popova was also detained at the State Duma with a cardboard figure of Slutsky - the police considered the figure to be a collapsible structure. The activist was released from the department without a protocol being drawn up.

• Earlier, three journalists - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the RTVi TV channel Ekaterina Kotrikadze, producer of the Dozhd TV channel Daria Zhuk and journalist of the BBC Russian service Farida Rustamova - accused Leonid Slutsky of sexual harassment. The BBC published a transcript of the audio recording Rustamova's conversation with Slutsky, during which the deputy offered the journalist to become his mistress.The State Duma Commission on Deputy Ethics considered the complaints of journalists, but did not find any violations in Slutsky's behavior.
• Popova is also one of the organizers of pickets against sexual harassment, notifications for which the mayor's office has rejected four times.
