The Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Andrei Shimkiv met with representatives of the public of the Novosibirsk region and called on the audience to stop politicizing the situation.

Andrei Shimkiv promised to meet supporters and opponents of the re -election of Vasily Bormatov to the post of head of the Novosibirsk district, on March 29, on the last session of the regional parliament. Then, before the Legislative assembly, a picket of residents, dissatisfied with the situation in the area organized by regional deputies, was held. He listened to the protesters and invited the initiative group to the meeting, saying that the Legislative Assembly also received appeals of the current chapter, which means it was necessary to meet together in order to constructively resolve the current situation. The meeting took place on April 3.

“It was no coincidence that I collected both sides,” Andrei Shimkiv noted following the meeting. - Yes, probably this is not a very comfortable format for you, but you, I think, now understand how important it is to hear each other. Do not blame, do not attack and look for each other's “fleas”, but sit down and talk, agree. ”

He invited the meeting participants to stop exciting the area, politicize the current situation and change the format of the interaction of the authorities in the territory: “If necessary, I am ready to be an intermediary myself and the leaders of the factions will help us in this,” the speaker suggested.

Andrei Shimkiv said that the participants in the meeting will bring his position and vision of the ways of resolving the situation in the area to the temporarily acting governor. He did not exclude the possibility of another meeting with district activists and deputies before voting at the session of the district council, April 27, when the elections of the head of the Novosibirsk district will be held.
