Operator Vladimir Bashta received the White Square Award

On April 3, the Gogol Center Theater in Moscow hosted the ceremony of award of the film-Isbound art “White Square”. The owner of the main prize was the operator of the film "Time of the First" Vladimir Beshta.

The main prize this year was also nominated by Igor Klebanov (“Cold Tango”), Yuri Klimenko (Matilda), Mikhail Kricman (“Littleness”), Vladislav Opelants (“Cots hostilers”) and Alisher Khamiddzhaev (“Arrhythmia”).

In 2011, a graduate of the faculty of the VGIK Faculty of VGIK already received the White Square Award for the work on the film “Kandahar”, in the same year he was nominated for the film “Brest Fortress”, and in 2014 - for the film “Geographer Globe drank”.

Anatoly Mukasei, an operator of more than 40 films, who worked with Rolan Bykov, Alexei Korenev, Eldar Ryazanov and other directors, was named the laureate of the Prize “For Contribution to Operator Art” by Sergey Urusevsky.

The jury of the award this season included operators Mikhail Agravich (chairman), Pavel Kulakov and Dmitry Yashonkov, composer Maxim Dunaevsky, artist Leonid Kipnis, director Nikolai Dostal, Kinoved Peter Bagrov.

Since 2004, the White Square Award has been awarded the Russian Operator movie operator for the best camera work in a full -length feature film. The purpose of the award is to support cinema -operator art and encourage the best works of the domestic operator school.
