The teachers of the Lazurnensky boarding school in the Chelyabinsk region, whom former pupils accused of rape, were transferred to another job during the investigation. This was reported to Interfax by the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Chelyabinsk Region, Irina Butorina.
According to her, after the initiation of the rape case, the caregivers were sent on vacation; by the end of it, they were not charged, so there are no grounds for their dismissal.
At the same time, for the duration of the investigation, teachers were removed from contact with children for ethical reasons - they were found another job. “Now they don’t work as educators in this boarding school,” Butorina said.
She did not specify whether they would return there after the end of the investigation.
