As stated in the publication, the results of the analysis of poison and intelligence data allowed special services to come to certain conclusions in the first days after the attempt on Skripal. Already on the fourth day after poisoning, this information was reported to the Cabinet of Ministers of Great Britain.

Regarding the motives of the attempt, the newspaper sources noticed that in the case of Skripal, Russia could simply test the poison to find out its suitability for subsequent custom -made murders.

On Tuesday, the British Laboratory of Defense Studies and Technologies - the structure of the Ministry of Defense of the country - announced as a result of the analysis of the "Novice" samples that this poison could be produced only with the participation of the state , since the technology of its manufacture is extremely complicated. At the same time, chemists found it difficult to confirm that the poison was made in Russia. To do this, they explained, “other information” is needed, in particular intelligence data.
