Former volunteer Navalny is transferred to a general regime colony

The court ruled to transfer Alexei Mironov, a volunteer of Navalny's headquarters in Chuvashia, convicted under extremist articles, from a settlement colony to a general regime colony. It is reported by "Idel. Realities".

The publication clarifies that the reason for the transfer was repeated violations of the regime, which, in the case of the activist, the employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service include: an incorrectly made bed, keeping bread and woolen socks in the nightstand, too frequent showers.

The activist himself, who took part in the meeting via video link, insists that the claims of the Federal Penitentiary Service are formal. Despite the inclusion in the case of a psychologist's certificate, which recommended the exclusion of rough treatment and solitary confinement, the court decided on the transfer. Replacing a colony-settlement with a "general regime" is a significant deterioration in the conditions of punishment.

In the fall of 2017, Alexei Mironov, a former volunteer at Navalny's headquarters, was convicted of incitement to extremism (part 2 of article 280 of the Criminal Code) and inciting hatred (article 282 of the Criminal Code) because of posts on the social network VKontakte.
