In Perm, police officers detained a member of the Organization of Civil Activists Petr Petrov. This was reported to OVD-Info by his colleague.
Petrov's whereabouts are unknown, he stopped communicating.
UPD 13:27 Petrov's associate reported that the man was detained at Judicial District No. 2 of the Motovilikha Judicial District. There, the police drew up a protocol against him for violating the procedure for participating in a rally (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) due to a rally in support of political prisoners on October 7, 2017. Petrov was ordered to appear at the police department on Monday to be taken to court.
Petrov appeared in court as a witness in the case of Mikhail Kasimov, who allegedly evaded the execution of punishment in the form of compulsory labor for participating in the same action.
