Euro reached 72 rubles for the first time since last year

The euro reached 72 rubles on the Moscow currency exchange for the first time since August 2017. According to information on the exchange website, the European currency course as of 11:45 Moscow time was 72.21 rubles.

The dollar on Monday also went up very much. As of 11:45 Moscow time, it cost 58.83 rubles - the American currency has risen in price by more than 50 kopecks from last Friday.

The last time the Euro exchange rateexceeded the mark of 72 rubles on August 2, 2017. Then the European currency cost 72.01 rubles, the dollar - 60.71 rubles. The euro exchange rate then rose the most strongly in relation to the ruble since September 2016.
