In India, 22 carriages of a passenger train carrying about 1,000 people left the station and reversed about 12 kilometers.
The carriages of a train between Gujarat and Orisha left the station during a locomotive change.
According to preliminary data, the railway workers violated safety regulations by not blocking the cars. When the train lost speed, they managed to stop it by placing wooden blocks on the rails ( according to Sky News - stones). None of the passengers were injured.
Indian Railways has promised to investigate the incident. Seven employees of the railway suspended from work during the investigation.
