“Different cities and towns handed him the title of people's governor or honorary citizen, and he was paid money for this. In total, almost 3 million rubles a year accumulates literally for nothing. This is eight times more than the average resident of this region receives,” Navalny said.
Tuleev left the post of governor of his own free will, since, according to him, he could not remain in his post after the tragedy in the Zimnyaya Cherry shopping center. However, later the ex-governor was admitted to the regional parliament, where deputies from United Russia offered him to become a speaker.
