The judge in the case of Nikita Belykh resigned
Judge Tatyana Vasyuchenko of the Presnensky Court of Moscow, who sentenced the former governor of the Kirov region Nikita Belykh to eight years in a strict regime colony, resigned of her own free will.
This was reported by Interfax with reference to the city qualification board of judges. Vasyuchenko resigned on March 15. The reasons for her departure are not yet known. The Collegium terminated the powers of the judge at her request.
Belykh's verdict was announced on February 1. The court found him guilty of taking bribes from the leadership of the Novovyatsky ski plant. The ex-governor was also ordered to pay a fine of 48.2 million rubles.
