The Moscow Regional Court reduced the term of detention of Volokolamsk activist Andrei Zhdanov, who was arrested due to a car rally after a protest against the Yadrovo waste landfill. His lawyer Denis Kunaev writes about this on his Twitter.

On April 2, Andrei Zhdanov was arrested for 14 days. He was found guilty under Part 3 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (actions that resulted in interference with the functioning of life support facilities, transport or social infrastructure). The activist was detained on April 1 during a car rally, which began immediately after the protest against Yadrovo.
On April 3, in Volokolamsk, employees of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes (OBEP) and employees of the Center for Combating Extremism conducted a search in Zhdanov’s store.

Then, according to the author of the post, law enforcement officers seized the goods sold and accounting documents from the Rome store, owned by Zhdanov. The author, citing messages from residents of Volokolamsk, notes that people in civilian clothes also confiscate computers, documents and goods from Zhdanov’s tenants.

On the same day, searches took place at activist Ramazan Bayramov’s office and on the territory of his car wash. Law enforcement officers seized all the activist’s documents and computers, and also detained one citizen of Uzbekistan working for Bayramov. The worker was placed in a deportation center for holding migrants, and the migration service began the procedure for his expulsion from Russia.
