When I was invited to the performance with the double name “The Last Party/Human Rights Environmentalists” of the Moscow Theater.doc Theater, whose production, the fifth in a row in Russia and the sixth in the world, took place in Yoshkar-Ola on April 8-I immediately agreed. Question: Why do I need to watch a documentary social play, created on the basis of an interview with twelve real Russian human rights defenders, relatively little -known in society? - I was rhetorical for me. The human rights activists sounded about the people they help, and they were so sincere and truthful about their lives that the audience perceived the playing actors as existing heroes. This is Grigory Perel, Nargis Abdullaeva, Marina Kleshcheva, Konstantin Kozhevnikov and Olga Lysyuk. And the main question of the play, which the heroes asked for themselves and each other, - why do I need it, why do I need to engage in human rights activities? The easiest answer is from one of them is a drug. Of course, everything is more complicated. I recall a well -known comparison of religion with opium of the people, for the correct understanding of which we must recall the role of opium in those days as a freely accessible painkiller and used by K. Marx in a figurative sense as the role of religion in the muffling of suffering from social adversity. So human rights activists are so entertained in everyday work with respect for a person and the struggle for his rights that this activity becomes fate.
The other heroes were present invisibly with the participants in the performance, according to my feelings. At the beginning of the performance, we honored the memory of the untimely departed artistic director, the founder of the theater.doc, director and playwright Mikhail Ugarov. “Mikhail Yuryevich was the ideologist of the“ new drama ”, one of the main people in the modern theater, a man who taught us all not to be afraid, to fight and work,” his associates recall him.
The play itself is dedicated to Friedrich Gaaza, Fedor Petrovich, who can be called the “First Russian Human Rights Environmental”, known as “Holy Doctor” - a member of the Moscow Prison Committee and the chief physician of Moscow prisons in Tsarist Russia in the mid -19th century. Stories and quotes about Dr. Haaze supplemented the modern reading of the plot.
Answering the main question of the play, I remembered another human rights activist - Anton Semenovich Makarenko, a classic of domestic and world pedagogy, 130 years since the birth of which we celebrated on March 13. He built his pedagogical activity in respect for a person, connecting it with responsibility to society. For example, I will give one case in the commune to them. F. E. Dzerzhinsky, who was headed by Anton Semenovich, and told by himself. I must say that there were no educators in the commune. It was a self -governing community. It included two plants, one of which, by the way, issued the famous FED cameras - Felix Edmundovich Dzerzhinsky. The commune consisted of detachments, at the head of which the commander stood. One of them was elected attendant and was responsible for everything that was happening in the commune, while possessing great power - his orders had to be carried out unquestioningly with each communal. At the end of the working day, he reported to the head of the commune and this time announced an extraordinary incident -the disappearance of the radio receiver with one of the communities. The attendant showed great activity in search of a radio receiver and demanded a strict punishment of the thief. They turned out to be this duty commander. It happens. The Komsomol excluded him, and he referred the case to the general meeting of Kommunarov. They decided: to expel the thief from the commune - open the door and lower the stairs. The guilty was repented and sobbed - the doctors brought him to consciousness. Only Semyon Antonovich objected against expulsion - the Kommunars deprived him of the word for the whole life of the commune. Still, the head insisted on obtaining the consent of the chief of the commune-the NKVD. The next day, several famous Chekists persuaded Kommunarov to leave the guilty, citing their arguments. They were listened to, they were clapped. The dispute lasted all evening until midnight. But all 456 Kommunarov voted for the decision - open the door and lower the stairs.
The saying of Karl Marx is known: “Philosophers only explained the world in various ways; But the point is to change it. ” A person largely depends on the circumstances and is formed under their influence. But the person himself can change these circumstances. A. S. Makarenko raised people who are able to change the world, based on moral standards. In this humanism and the essence of human rights activity.
At the end of the performance, an exchange of opinions and thoughts between participants - actors and spectators took place. And again this question rose - why this performance? It is no secret that the human rights movement around the world is in marginal condition. Despite the importance of the issues raised by him. Human rights activists are not professional workers. These are teachers, engineers, scientists - ordinary people who tasted the bitterness of lawlessness. To tell society about them is the purpose of the play “The Last Party/Human Rights Environmental”, staged by the directors Elena Gremina and Olga Lysak based on the play by Anna Dobrovolskaya.
