Police officers came to the minor daughter of a Nizhny Novgorod human rights activist

In Nizhny Novgorod, police officers came to the home of human rights activist Stanislav Dmitrievsky to draw up a report on his minor daughter. Dmitrievsky himself wrote about this on Facebook.

The girl is accused of participating in a march in memory of Boris Nemtsov, which was not approved.

UPD 19:32 Dmitrievsky told OVD-Info that the employees never drew up a report and left when the human rights activist returned home and called the neighbors.

UPD 19:59 According to the human rights activist, the district police officer threatened him with fabricating a case against his wife for “attacking a juvenile affairs inspector” because she took the report form from the inspector, crumpled it and threw it away.

• In March, Stanislav Dmitrievsky himself was arrested for 20 days for participating in a march in memory of Boris Nemtsov. He was accused of repeated violation of the procedure for holding public events (Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).
• A day earlier, Nizhny Novgorod resident Sergei Novikov was arrested for 20 days under the same article and for the same reason. The police officers were instructed to detain him by people in civilian clothes with lists of march participants. In addition to the list, they had close-up photographs of those they wanted to detain.
