In Krasnoyarsk, the organizer of the rally “For a Clear Sky” was fined 10 thousand rubles

The Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnoyarsk fined Tatyana Protsykova, the organizer of the uncoordinated environmental rally “For a Clear Sky,” 10 thousand rubles, the activist herself told Siberia.Realities.

The court website says that the protocol against Protsykova was drawn up under Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (organizing or holding a public event without filing a notification).

“I don’t regret my decision to stage a protest one bit. The court cannot in any way influence my position on the issue of the city’s ecology or who should be responsible for this,” the activist told the publication.

According to Protsykova, the court “went to meet her” by imposing a minimal fine. The lawyer provided the court with certificates about the activist’s difficult financial situation, about outstanding loans, and also about the fact that Protsykova is on maternity leave.

On February 12, a rally “For Clear Sky” was held near the building of the Krasnoyarsk government. According to Sibir.Realii estimates, about 100 people took part in the action. The activist said that “in principle” she did not coordinate the rally, because she understood that the action would not be approved in any case at the right time in the right place.
