On April 5, the State Kremlin Palace posted on the government procurement website lots for a corporate party in honor of the fifth anniversary of the Rosseti company. The event itself took place on April 4. Novaya Gazeta drew attention to the lots.
In particular, lots were posted retroactively for the production of invitation forms and envelopes (145 thousand rubles), as well as photo zones for corporate events (566 thousand rubles). In addition, an order was placed to invite presenter Yana Churikova (1 million rubles) and another presenter (3.7 million rubles), whose name is not indicated in the lot. According to Novaya Gazeta, we are talking about Ivan Urgant.
The lots were closed on April 6th. All purchases were made “from a single supplier,” notes Novaya Gazeta.
- In March, State Duma deputy Ivan Sukharev asked the head of the Accounts Chamber, Tatyana Golikova, to check the government procurement for the Rosseti corporate event at the State Kremlin Palace in the amount of 27 million rubles, since the company’s losses for 2017 exceeded 13 billion rubles.
- Sukharev recalled that in 2013, Vladimir Putin advised state-owned companies to hold corporate events at the expense of employees, and not at the expense of budget funds. This is how the president responded to the information that Russian Railways plans to spend more than 50 million rubles on the New Year’s corporate party.
- Rosseti is the largest company in Russia in the field of transmission and distribution of electricity. Itoperates more than two million kilometers of power lines and 496 thousand substations. The company employs 216 thousand people. The state owns 88% of the authorized capital of Rosseti.
