A court in Crimea has extended the arrest of those involved in the Simferopol Hizb ut-Tahrir case.

On April 10, the Supreme Court of Crimea extended for two months the arrest of five defendants in the Simferopol case of Hizb ut-Tahrir, writes Idel. Realities".

Emil Dzhemadenov, Rustem Ismailov, Aider Saledinov, Teymur and Uzair Abdullayev are accused of involvement in the activities of a terrorist organization (Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code). Teymur Abdullayev is considered by the investigation to be the organizer of the Hizb ut-Tahrir cell.

All five were detained and arrested in November 2016 after a series of searches in the homes of Crimean Tatars. In December of the same year, Saledinov, Ismailov and Uzair Abdullayev stated that they were beaten by FSB officers while being transported to the investigation.
