A court in Chita fined the former coordinator of Navalny's headquarters for the “Voter Strike”

The Central District Court of Chita has fined Mikhail Fayzrakhmanov, a local supporter of Alexei Navalny, 10,000 rubles for participating in the "voters' strike." About this writes "MBH-media". The man was found guilty of violating the procedure for organizing a rally (part 1 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

“A month and a half ago, the same judge acquitted me in this case, but after an appeal from the FSB by the hands of the police. The decision to review the case was made by the judge of the regional court Khodiukov, ”Faizrakhmanov told the publication.

In February 2018, the FSB sent documents to the police to check on Mikhail Fayzrakhmanov because of calls to go on strike for voters.

• On March 1, 2018, the Central District Court of Chita terminated the proceedings in the case of Fayzrakhmanov due to the lack of an administrative offense. However, the Trans-Baikal Regional Court reversed the judge's decision and returned the case to the Central District Court for a new trial by another judge.
• The action within the framework of the “Voters' Strike” in Chita was agreed with the authorities.
• On November 2, 2017, the activist was expelled from the university by order of the rector, motivated by skipping classes. According to Fayzrakhmanov, the reasons for the absences were valid. Navalny's headquarters believe that the expulsion is connected with the political activities of the coordinator. In March, he was reinstated at the university by court order.
