The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined Alena Popova 20,000 rubles for being detained during a solitary picket near the State Duma with a cardboard figure of deputy Leonid Slutsky. Popova wrote about this on Facebook.
She was found guilty under part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (holding a public event without filing a notification).
Popova was detained at the State Duma on April 2, when she stood with a cardboard figure of Slutsky - the police considered the figure to be a collapsible structure. The next day, she was detained during a similar action.
On April 3, were also detained other participants in one-man pickets against sexual harassment, Anastasia Alekseeva and Anastasia Glushkova, . Protocols were drawn up against them under part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by a participant of the procedure for holding a public event).
