Alexei Navalny’s headquarters volunteer Alexei Mironov, convicted of posts on VKontakte, is being transferred from the colony-settlement to pre-trial detention center No. 1. This is reported by Idel. Realii” with reference to the mother of the activist Veronika Mironova.
After that, Mironov, presumably, can be sent to a colony in another region.
- Aleksey Mironov was sentenced to two years and three months in a colony-settlement for incitement to extremism (Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code) and inciting hatred (Article 282 of the Criminal Code) because of posts on the VKontakte social network.
- The activist repeatedly ended up in a punishment cell for leaving socks or bread in the nightstand, for frequent showers, and for overslept getting up. Because of this, the court decided to transfer Mironov to a general regime colony, which is a worsening of conditions.
