Peskov installed ICQ to replace Telegram

The press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov installed ICQ to replace the Telegram messenger, through which he previously communicated, including with journalists.

“We’re trying for now,” he wrote to reporters of the Radio station “Moscow says”.

ICQ in the case of TEELGRAM blocking was previously called by the presidential adviser to the development of the Internet, German Klimenko.

On April 13, the Tagansky court of Moscow decided to limit access to Telegram in Russia due to the refusal of the transfer of the FSB “information necessary for decoding accepted, transmitted, delivered and (or) processed electronic messages”. It is expected that the blocking will begin on Monday April 16.
