In Moscow, four people were detained at a rally against the construction of the Red Arrow stadium

Four activists were detained at a rally near the Orion cinema on Pilot Babushkin Street in Moscow. Mikhail Udimov and three underage participants of the action, standing near nationalist flags, were detained. Lyudmila Pudrik reported this to OVD-Info by phone.

According to Pudryk, the action organized by the Yabloko party was dedicated to a protest against the construction of the Red Arrow stadium. The rally was also attended by people with nationalist symbols. According to Pudrik, the chairman of the Moscow regional branch of the party, Sergei Mitrokhin, considered such symbols a provocation and turned to the police. After that, a fight broke out, after which the police detained four people.

The detainees were taken to the Losinoostrovsky police department.

UPD On April 15, activist Mark Galperin, who was present at the rally, told OVD-Info that in the end no one was detained. The police dragged Mikhail Udimov from the place of the action to the nearest bench and left him there. Judging by the photographs , he was dragged along the ground.

As Galperin explained, young people with imperial flags were probably provocateurs from the Forty Forties movement. Their police officers repeatedly took them away from the place of the rally, but they returned back. “It was clear that the police did not want to detain them,” the activist said.
