© "Polytechnic" participants of the performance "VR_I"On May 19 and 20, the fifth street festival of science, art and technology Polytech will be held in Moscow in Moscow. The theme of the festival is “Energy”.
The main event of the Politha will be the dance performance of the “VR_I” team of the Swiss choreographer Zhil Zhoben. Armed with virtual reality glasses, the performance participants explore the world fictional artist - an endless desert, a non -existent city or loft on the top of the mountain. Spectators of the performance can interact with each other and move freely through locations, observing the movements of virtual dancers.
The pioneer pond is located on the Moon model with a diameter of 7 m-the lunar globe on a scale of 1: 500,000, also in Gorky Park will appear “Storm Laboratory”-an installation in the form of a transparent membrane, inside of which thousands of charged carbon particles will move, and the sports and intellectual quest along the festival “Free the Energy ” (“ Free Energy ”), prepared together with Nike .
Throughout the festival site, the project of the Ronnenberg Creative Technology “Water Robot” will run, which will offer visitors fresh drinking water obtained directly from the air.
A special place in Gorky Park will be occupied by the winner of the 2018 Open-Colle-the Green Iskra project. Elena and Ivan Mitrofanov, authors of the project in Shukhov Lab (laboratory of prototyping cities of the future), together with Paolo Bombelli from the University of Cambridge will bring installation to the festival that demonstrates the technology of biological photogalness.

On May 19, the lecture “How Supreme Makes us” will be a professor at the University of Otago (New Zealand), American psychologist Jesse Bering.
On May 20, Professor of the University of Liverpool (Great Britain) Ben Ambridge will present his new book “From a parrot to a dolphin: how do we differ from animals?”, Disords myths about the life of animals and talk about the latest discoveries of zoologists and zoopsychologists.
