Today in Russia they began to block Telegram - providers are complying with a court decision that was made due to the messenger’s refusal to hand over encryption keys to the FSB.

Telegram founder Pavel Durov said that the court's decision was contrary to the Constitution and promised that the messenger would continue to defend the right of citizens to the privacy of correspondence. “The quality of life of 15 million Russians will deteriorate, since Telegram without a VPN may at times be unavailable,” Durov noted.
