Satir writer Mikhail Mishin, whom many remember for working with Raikin, by the sonorous word “approval” and the program “around laughter”, in the late 90s “laying on the bottom”. He went into literary translations, translated the first seasons of the series “Friends”, became one of the leading Russian translators, but almost stopped speaking and publishing his own works.
More than twenty years of silence, and now Mishin comes to the audience again. On April 19, he will perform in Moscow, in the "Theater at the Nikitsky Gate" with the latest monologues - about the funny, sad, monstrous life with you.
- You listen to your monologues and do not know whether to cry or laugh. Modern satire - how does it differ from Soviet times?
- There is such a thing. Satire, starting with swift, uses one of the important techniques - exaggeration. But what can be exaggerated today? You will now believe everything that I say. I will say that a cache was discovered in the Kremlin, and there are fourteen trillion rubles. Will you have a doubt for at least one second? You won't even blink. Our time is the time of disappearance of surprise. We are the generation that may have finished with him at all. Nobody really realized this. But in fact, this feeling is simply killed.
Modern science is so powerful that everything is real, any invention that is unthinkable yesterday, the question is only in terms. If tomorrow a helicopter with horned six -tailed aliens sits on Tverskaya, they will go and finish for unpaid parking. This is bad, in fact, because surprise is the right feeling. It drives, makes you live, wakes up emotions.
Another type of surprise has appeared. When a woman gives way to, an elderly person is transferred across the road, they are busy with sick children. This is a surprise turned into the past when it was normal to do so. Therefore, I believe that each society should treat its own madness, and not delve into the madness of others.
- And what is craziness of Russian society?
- You turn on the TV, and you can’t hear anything for days, except for discussing the problems of Ukraine, Syria and America. I stopped understanding where we live, why is it all. This is paranoia pure water. Anti -Americanism becomes the policy of the state. But what kind of term is “anti -Americanism”? What does it mean? Is this Antihemingway, Antifolkner? For days to tell that the Americans are to blame for everything - this is all the absolute pumping of the emotional bubble that is terribly exhausted. The bubble will necessarily burst, and the most bad, in some clumsy way.
But so far it outweighs the feeling of satisfaction that someone else is to blame for your troubles. Not you really. This is unpleasant, it is ashamed, and when the neighbor is good, all because of him. And then you can already substitute: Americans, Ukrainians, Tatars, Jews who want, Caucasians. We are all right, we have a thick, Pushkin. How can we be to blame? No!
