The journalist who wrote about the death of Russian fighters in Syria died

In Yekaterinburg, on April 15, the journalist of the New Day agency Maxim Borodin died. It is reported by "MBH Media".

According to URA.RU, on April 13, Borodin fell out of the window of his apartment on the fifth floor. The neighbors found him lying on the ground, they called an ambulance. On the same day, the spokesman for the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Sverdlovsk region Valery Gorelykh said that the door of the apartment was locked from the inside to the Schekold-an investigative-operational group went to the scene. The keys, according to him, lay "on the spot." Law enforcement officers did not find a suicide note.

According to MBH Media, the editor -in -chief of the New Day Polina Rumyantseva claims that Borodin had no reasons for suicide. She promised not to be silent if a “hint of crime” appears in the case.

Human rights activist Vyacheslav Bashkov wrote on Facebook on April 11 Borodin called him at five in the morning and reported that he was “covered by the security forces” - the journalist claimed that people in camouflage and masks were standing on the stairwell. Then Borodin suggested that they were going to search for him and are waiting for the court decision. However, an hour later he called back and said that he was mistaken, and the exercises perhaps in the entrance.

A friend of the deceased Paulin Andreevna told on the social network that on April 5, Borodin was in intensive care after the attack. An unknown head razed his head when the journalist was leaving the entrance.

In October 2017, unknown people hit Borodin with an iron pipe on the head, according to URA.RU. The journalist himself associated this with an interview about the film "Matilda", which he gave the Rain TV channel.

Maxim Borodin was one of the journalists who told about the death of the fighters of the Russian private military company Wagner in Syria after the air strike of the International Coalition on February 7.
