The court extended the arrest to the former accountant of the Seventh Studio

The court in Moscow extended to the former accountant of the Seventh Studio Nina Maslyaeva until May 23, which the investigation accuses of embezzlement of funds. This was reported by the TASS agency.

Maslyaeva is a final charge. At the moment, she gets acquainted with the case file. The preliminary investigation will last until July 19.

The artistic director of the Gogol Center Kirill Serebrennikov was detained in Moscow at the end of August 2017. He is accused of embezzlement of 130 million rubles allocated for the theater troupe "Seventh Studio". In this case, the former director of Gogol-Center Alexei Malobrodsky, director of the Seventh Studio, Yuri Itin and former accountant Nina Maslyaeva are also held. Serebrennikov, Itin and Maslyaeva are under house arrest. Malobrodsky was placed in a pre -trial detention center. Russian and world cultural figures have repeatedly treated letters in support of the director and his colleagues. Serebrennikov accused Maslyaev in a reservation and stated that the investigation was listening only to her testimony.
