From Blagoveshchensk to China - 10 minutes on the ship through the Amur, if in the summer, or by bus on a pontoon crossing, if in winter. We are here in Heihe or Harbin to go - all the same as to the mother -in -law for pancakes in the village. What we use in full. Naturally, I have friends in China who open my eyes on different aspects of Chinese life. It is somewhat very similar to ours, but something at all.
Without going into the details of the changes in the Constitution of China, in three words I will explain what happened there recently: the chairman of the PRC Xi Jinping received a carte blanche for unlimited rule. This event caused in my memory a case that took place in the summer of 2007.
In the resort town of Baidaihe - 300 km from Beijing, on the shores of the Yellow Sea - on the beach I talked with a young Chinese. He introduced himself as a Russian name Anton, said that he was studying at the university at the Russian branch, and here he is undergoing language practice, working with a guide of tourist groups from Russia.
To begin with, Anton complained about Russian people who, in his opinion, are immoderately drunk, including women. Then he changed the subject and moved to the discussion of the election situation in Russia. Let me remind you that then the second presidential term of V.V. Putin ended.
“Will you choose a new president?” Anton asked.
- Yes. According to the Constitution of Russia, the third presidential term is not provided, ”I replied.
- Can you rewrite your constitution?
- It is forbidden.
- Who will be Putin's younger brother? - asked my interlocutor, referring to the successor, whom Vladimir Vladimirovich will call.
This is the Chinese by the teachings of Confucius: "The state is a family, the emperor is the father, the people are children, etc."
“Nobody knows this yet,” I answered.
Moreover, no one could guess about the castling on the political board, which the Kremlin Grassmasters would come up with.
I must say that there are as many "sofas experts" in China as in Russia. The conversations similar to the above, at that summer, I had more than once with the Chinese. And every time I was convinced that ordinary Chinese sincerely love Putin and did not want his departure from the post of president of Russia. They liked all the facts of his biography and all his actions at the presidential post. Putin is a former KGB officer, and the Chinese respect the security forces and dislike liberals. Under Putin, the demarcation of the border along the Amur continued, and several islands went to China.

Somehow it turned out that I began to collect photos with portraits and other images of Putin in China. He is there everywhere: on the cover of a glossy magazine, on the sign of the restaurant, on the drawing of a street artist, on an advertisement for Russian ice cream, on the carpet, in the form of a rosteo doll ... And after all, there was no written or oral order on the popularization of the image of Vladimir Vladimirovich. The initiative goes from below - from the people. Hence such a variety of styles of his images.

In China, there is a double of Putin-a 55-year-old peasant Luo Yuanpin-a favorite of the spectators of the talk show and readers of the columns of social life. By the way, he is not married, like a real Putin.
On August 29, 2010, when V.V. Putin was already the chairman of the Russian government, China’s television screens went around the news plot in which he personally, having rolled his sleeves, opens the oil pipeline valve on the border with the PRC.
D.A. Medvedev had a presidential place and returned it to V.V. Putin in the March 4, 2012 elections. Typically, all four years of the presidential term of Dmitry Anatolyevich in China called him: "Putin's younger brother." As the Chinese looked into the water, as if knowing in advance about the upcoming reverse scoop of the president and Prime Minister of Russia. And they were in no hurry to remove the portraits of the "older brother".
I have no doubt that the billion Chinese electorate passionately wished V.V. Putin’s victories in the presidential election on March 18, 2018. And he won, breaking his personal record of votes of votes.

I am far from any devilry and mysticism, but I strongly suspect that in this world there are some kind of quantum cause-effect relationships so far unknown by scientists. A billion of small vectors of the Chinese wishes - again to see V.V. Putin - merged into one huge vector as president of Russia, and their general desire was materialized as a result. Of course, taking into account the main factor - the will of Russian voters.
Japan claims the territory of Russia: the South Kuril Islands of Iturup, Kunashir, Shikotan and a group of Habomai Islands. China and Japan also have a disputed territory: the Dyaoyudao archipelago (whale), aka Senkaku (owl), in the East China Sea.

In China, Taiwan Island is considered a province of mainland China. Taiwan Island is depicted on the map of China as part of its territory. Beijing television, reporting a weather forecast for the country, does not bypass Taiwan's province. If on some souvenir map of the PRC there is no time for the artist, the products go under the knife, and the manufacturer is under trial.
Russia, despite the protests of Ukraine and many countries of the world, made the Crimea peninsula with its subject - the Republic of Crimea.
China spent nine dotted lines on its map in the South China Sea, thereby making several dozen islands and reefs, despite the objections of Brunei, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan and the Philippines.
The United States consider Russia and China to be their main competitors and "growing threats." Russia and China conduct joint military exercises. Russia and China see the danger in Islamic radicalism, harshly suppress any attempts at separatism. The authorities of Russia and China are fighting destructive sects and "death groups" on the Internet. In Russia and China, anti -corruption decrees operate.
All this at the household level brings the Russian and the Chinese closer. Any of these topics is suitable for the next round of negotiations between folk diplomacy for a beer mug.
My opinion is very subjective and probably illiterate from the point of view of political science, sociology, psychology and other social sciences. But I, as I managed, tried to reveal the cause of the huge popularity of V.V. Putin in the Chinese people.
As a supporter of friendship and cooperation of Russia and China, Russian and Chinese peoples, I want to blame compatriots for one annoying omission. We know China badly, we are little interested in its history and today's affairs. In addition to Mao Zedong and Dan Xiaopin, perhaps none of the leaders of the PRC do not recall. Surrender ten passers -by in Russia, and only one of them knows the name and surname of the current chairman of the People's Republic of China. And, as a result, there are few portraits of Xi Jinping in Russia. And this is already - an imbalance that should not be in the relationship between two friendly countries and their peoples.
