In Russia, by decision of the court, they began to block access to the Telegram messenger. This was reported on the website of Roskomnadzor.

During the day, the department will send requests to the App Store and Google Play app stores demanding to delete the application, the head of Roskomnadzor Alexander Zharov told Interfax.

On Friday, the court in Moscow decided to immediately block Telegram. Such a decision was made after the messenger refused to provide the FSB of Russia with encryption keys from user correspondence, referring to the secret of correspondence guaranteed by the Constitution. On the same day, Roskomnadzor brought a messenger to the register of sites prohibited in Russia.

The creator of Telegram Pavel Durov said that the messenger will continue to work using built -in methods for bypassing locks and VPN.
