Roskomnadzor continues to block the IP addresses of the cloud services of Amazon and Google to make the Telegram messenger impossible. According to the data on the website of Internet activists who track the dynamics of locks, at 16:37 Moscow time on April 17, almost 18.2 million IP addresses of Internet companies were included in the register of prohibited sites.
On Tuesday, two more subnets were blocked - one owned by Amazon, the other - Goolgle.
Third -party services using the services of Google and Amazon Web Services continue to suffer from the actions of the censorship department. According to the journalist of Echo Moscow, Alexander Plyushchev, users began to complain about the inaccessibility of Microsoft's sites: access to Microsoft Docs, Microsoft Developer Network, Windows, Microsoft Office, the Visual Studio development, game console. Xbox. Meanwhile, as of 13:33 Moscow time in the capital, these resources are available.

Some users have stopped opening the site of Roskomnadzor itself.
In total, the lock has already affected more than 40 thousand sites located on the blocked IP addresses.
According to IGUIDES, the blocking of Amazon IP addresses and other hosts will not lead to the cessation of Telegram: the application constantly receives new addresses of servers through updates from the Google, Microsoft and Apple servers, depending on the mobile device used.
According to Vedomosti with reference to the press service of the RKN, the department demanded to remove the Telegram mobile application from Apple Store and Google Play app stores. While it remains affordable.
The day before, 2 million Amazon and Google IP addresses were included in the register of prohibited sites. On the first day of mass locks, problems arose in the work of the Viber messenger. It was also reported about the disconnection of the cash desk in the network of Moscow supermarkets "Dixy". Former State Duma deputy Dmitry Gudkov reported problems with computer networks at a couple of large banks, several private clinics.
At the same time, on Monday, Roskomnadzor began sending notifications of blocking to the owners of proxy servers.
In these notifications, as well as when blocking Amazon and Google IP addresses, RKN referred to the Lugovo Law - formally, the requirements for the ban on resources proceeded from the Prosecutor General. This law allows the supervisory authority without a court to require blocking sites for posting "information containing calls to riots, extremist activities" and participation in inconsistent street actions, as well as materials of "undesirable" organizations. At the same time, many addresses specified in the notifications of the RKN could not be opened through the browser.
