Volodin: Under the law on sanctions against the United States, it will not be possible to ban 90 drugs - out of more than a thousand that supply to Russia

State Duma chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said that under the proposed law on sanctions against the United States, it will not be forbidden to import 90 American drugs - out of 1019 supplied to Russia from America.

We are talking about medicines that have no analogues in Russia and which cannot be delivered from other countries, Volodin explained.

“Let's try to calm the public,” he said on the air of Russia 24.

Volodin added that by the second reading of the bill, deputies want to meet with “representatives of the expert community, business circles who will affect this law” and “once again make sure of the correctness of the decision and once again get support”.
