The crime was committed on the night of January 2, 2001. At about 2:00, the restaurant’s vengeful clients waited for Alexei Yudin to go outside. At that moment, Gorshenin took out a 7.62 mm caliber pistol, directed the barrel in the chest of the “offender” and lowered the trigger. Then the attacker took another shot into the air.

After shooting, Gorshenin and his accomplice disappeared, throwing a car. From the injury received, Yudin died on the way to the hospital.

Note that the deceased was characterized exclusively positively, was a responsive and cheerful person. After the death of Alexei, his father tried to poison himself with pills. The man was saved, but a week before the 18th anniversary of his daughter Natalia, he hanged himself.

Gorshenin was put on the international wanted list. In 2017, it was found that a native of the Mordovian Ardatov since 2009 has been living in Germany under other people's questionnaires and has been working at the Berlin School of Music. Gorshenin had housing on Lerhenweg Street, pretended to be a citizen of Lithuania and had the status of a resident of the European Union. The accused in Germany had a civil spouse and a adopted son.

Before the verdict, the defendant said that he was repented in his deed. The court came to the conclusion that Denis deliberately killed a student, to whom he "wished death on the basis of personal hostile relations." “He shot almost at point -blank, aimed, from a TT pistol with high combat qualities,” the judge noted.

When sentencing, it was taken into account that Gorshenin pleaded guilty, repented, voluntarily compensated for part of the moral harm caused, did not have a criminal record, and was characterized positively at the previous place of residence and work, although at the place of detention - negatively. Various diseases of the defendant, his elderly mother and civil spouse were also taken into account.

The sister of the murdered Alexei Yudin asked to recover 2 million rubles of non -pecuniary damage from Gorshenin, but the court halved this amount.

After the sentence, the sister of the murdered Natalia expressed satisfaction with the triumph of justice. However, she complained that after three years, Gorshenin would receive the right to parole.

“The guilty was found and sent punishment. Although, after so many years, I, to be honest, did not hope for it. Everything is returning in this life by a boomerang. I already visited the graves of my father and brother who lie nearby. I told them that I would finally hear the verdict to the person who killed them,” Natalya explained.
