An opponent of the construction of a waste incineration plant in Tatarstan was offered a polygraph

In Tatarstan, police asked Farida Gulmutdinova, a participant in a protest against the construction of a waste incineration plant in Osinovo, to undergo a lie detector test. “Idel” writes about this. Realities" with reference to lawyer Albina Gaifullina.

The lawyer said that police officers came to the activist’s home, among them was the head of the OP in Osinovo. They suggested that Gulmutdinova undergo a polygraph in Zelenodolsk, but did not explain the reason. Gulmutdinova’s husband also received a similar offer.

The publication's report says that at the moment the activist has not decided whether she will accept the offer to take a polygraph or not. Before doing this, she wants to consult with her doctor.

The day before it became known that unknown persons broke all the windows, the rear headlight and broke the rear view mirror in Gulmutdinova’s car. According to the activist, the ignition key was inserted into the lock, but the attackers did not steal the car. The car was parked in a garage on private property - nothing was missing from it, or from the car.

Gilmutdinova is known as an active fighter against the construction of a waste incineration plant in Osinovo - she collected signatures, spoke at a rally and called on fellow villagers to come to it.

Gilmutdinova herself believes that the car was broken precisely because of her civic activities.

• A waste incineration plant in Tatarstan is going to be built in the Zelenodolsk region, in the village of Osinovo. The company plans to recycle up to 50% of all solid household waste in Kazan. Construction is expected to begin in October 2018 and be put into operation in 2022.
• The construction investor, a subsidiary of the Rostec corporation RT-Invest , has already purchased the land for the plant. Residents of Kazan organized a movement against the construction of a waste incineration plant. In their struggle, they united with similar movements from the Moscow region, where Rostec also proposes to build similar enterprises.
