The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada reported that he is recalling the families of diplomatic personnel in Cuba, since he is studying "unusual symptoms associated with health", which are complained by the embassy employees in Havana. On April 16, Global Affairs Canada reported that there is an “incomprehensible situation” regarding the causes of mysterious symptoms found in 10 people located in Cuba.
Spouses, children and parents of the diplomats who are now in Cuba, leave the country, said in a statement.
American diplomats in Cuba reported such symptoms since 2016, when Washington revealed the impact of ultrasound devices against diplomats. Former US State Secretary Rex Tillerson said that the symptoms were the result of "targeted attacks", but did not specify who could be responsible for them.
Cuba denies participation in any harmful activity or claims that she does not know about her. According to the Cuban authorities, their own study of diseases did not reveal that people were intentionally poisoned. Canada reported on April 16 that American and Canadian specialists who studied the injured Canadians expressed concerns about the "new type of craniocre injury."
"For a better understanding, additional studies are needed. The reason remains unknown, but perhaps it was created by a person," the statement said. The statement notes that testing the quality of water and air has not yet revealed a possible explanation of the symptoms.
