Barbara Bush died

The wife of the 41st President of the United States and the mother of the 43rd Head of State Barbara Bush died in the United States. According to the press secretary of the ex-head of the state, Jim McGrath, he died after the decision of her family members to stop the long treatment of chronic obstructive lung disease and heart failure.

Barbara Bush on January 20, 1989 became the 46th first Lady of the United States after her husband George Bush Sr. won the election and became the 41st president of the country. Later, the sons of Barbara Bush also held high political posts. George Bush Jr. became the 43rd president of the United States, and Jeb Bush became the 43rd governor of Florida.
