The evening of memory of Karola Neer will be held in the Memorial

On April 21, the “Bibliochi” at the International Memorial will host a musical and theater evening dedicated to the memory of the German actress Carola Ner (1900–1942).

Start at 19:00, the entrance is free by preliminary registration .

At the evening in the “Memorial”, students and graduates of the Moscow International Film School, students of Rati Gitis, professional and unprofessional musicians will present a composition based on the biography of Karola Ner and the play by Bertolt Brecht “Trekhgroshovaya Opera”.

Her idea was born from the diploma performance “Trekhgroshovaya Opera”, staged a year ago in a Moscow film school. According to the organizers, “the plan of the composition is to show at the expense of the intersections of the theater and life the history of a person, the whole essence of which cannot be reduced to one role, whether it be the“ prisoner of the Gulag ”or“ great actress ”.”
