The Leninsky District Court of Stavropol arrested the 20-year-old local resident Maxim Panchenko for a period until June 14 in the case of terrorism. The message about the decision made on April 18 appeared on Thursday on the court website.
Panchenko is charged with part 1 of Article 30 - Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code (preparation of the attack). He faces up to seven and a half years of colony. The accusation of the arrested has not yet been brought - he remains in the status of the suspect.
According to Komsomolskaya Pravda - Stavropol, a native of Karachay -Cherkessia Panchenko was detained on April 16 by security forces from the regional UFSB. In the video published by the GTRK "Stavropol", the special forces lead the already detained Panchenko from the minibus, twisting his hands behind his back. On the set, the shouts repeated three times with a stifled voice “Glory to the Imrat Caucasus! Allahu Akbar!”, Although it is clear that the detainee is silent at that time.
Then Panchenko is presented with a certificate and ask a question for what purpose he arrived at a certain "place of incident." “Burn the school, blow up the kindergarten,” the detainee answers memorizedly. Then the security forces find out on the camera the data on Panchenko’s personality and report that the “scene of the incident” will be examined in the presence of witnesses.
"KP-Stavropol" also reports that the FSB finds out the circle of communication of Panchenko in order to attract other defendants in the case.
