In Kaliningrad, the police detained Yegor Chernyuk, coordinator of the local headquarters of Alexei Navalny, supposedly because of evading the army. The regional manager of Navalny, Ekaterina Moshonkina, wrote about this on her Twitter.
As the manager reports, the police and employees of the EE Center told Chernyuk that he had a criminal case for evasion of the army. She reports that the activist was brought to the military registration and enlistment office for a physical examination.
UPD 17:55 The coordinator was released from the department with the agenda the next day on the Investigative Committee.
On March 7, Yegor Chernyuk was taken from the headquarters to the Investigative Committee. They took an explanatory and released from him. Then the investigator said that they were going to start a criminal case for activist for evasion. In March, the coordinator was arrested for 10 days per share on January 28.
In November 2017, Yegor Chernyuk and staff officer Oleg Alekseev was fined 670 and 500 rubles. Supporters of Navalny received a fine due to the fact that allegedly did not appear on the agenda in time (Article 21.5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses: non-fulfillment by citizens of military registration duties).
