The British police and intelligence established suspects in the poisoning of the former GRU Colonel Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia, reports The Telegraph with reference to unnamed sources. According to law enforcement officers, they are in Russia.

The number of suspects is not specified. It was reported that they were installed by analyzing the list of people who flew to Britain and then left the country.

Now British law enforcement officers are preparing to begin the criminal prosecution of the alleged participants in the attempt on the Skripals.

When trying to hold accountable or at least interrogate the suspects located in Russia, London will most likely “come across a diplomatic wall,” the publication says. In the past, Moscow twice refused to give the British authorities a State Duma deputy from the LDPR Andrei Lugovoi, whom the British authorities accuse of the murder of a former FSB officer Alexander Litvinenko.

According to the British authorities, the Russian intelligence services have monitored the Skripals since at least 2013, when the GRU cybersical specialists hacking the e -mail of the former intelligence officer.

The 66-year-old Skripal, a resident of the city of Salisbury, the county of Wiltshire, and his 33-year-old daughter who came from Russia were discovered on March 4 at the Maltings shopping center in Salisbury with symptoms of severe poisoning. Also, about 50 more people who suffered from the action of the poison turned to medical assistance.

At the end of March, Julia Skripal came out of a coma and began to recover. Soon, her father’s condition began to improve - now the life of a former intelligence officer is out of danger. On April 10, it became known that Julia Skripal was discharged from the hospital .

The British media reported that after the recovery of the Skripals, the country's special services are going to take them out of Britain with documents for other people's names. Presumably they can be sent to the USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.

London directly accuses the Russian authorities of poisoning the Skripals. According to the British authorities, the poison of the "Novice", with the help of which the attempt was made, was made in a military laboratory in the closed city of Shikhana of the Saratov region. In Shikhanov there is the 33rd Central Research Institute for the Russian Ministry of Defense and the 1st mobile team of radiochembi-protection of the Russian army is based.

The organization to prohibit chemical weapons confirmed London's conclusions about the nature of the poison, which were poisoned by the Skripals.

According to the British authorities, in Russia since the 2000s, a secret program for the development and production of chemical weapons has been in force, in which the use of poisonous murders was also studied.
