Registration of IP Mathematics Dmitry Bogatov was recognized as invalid

Mathematician Dmitry Bogatov received a notification that the Federal Tax Service (Federal Tax Service) recognized as invalid his registration as an individual entrepreneur. He published a photograph of the document in his telegram channel.

Bogatova is accused of calling for terrorism and preparing for the riots because of the proposal to go on April 2, 2017 on Red Square, which was placed by someone under the Ayrat Bashirov pseudonym at the Sysadmins.ru forum. The calls were sent from IP mathematics, but Bogatov is the operator of the output node of the Tor network, which means that any user could write with his IP.

The FTS notification says that the registration of the individual entrepreneur was recognized as invalid due to the criminal record of Bogatov. However, the court has not yet passed the sentence in his case, which means that there is no criminal record.

In the message, the mathematician noted that the Federal Tax Service did not send instructions on how to appeal the decision. He also added that he was currently in search of work and went for an interview. But they did not employ Bogatov, because the security department rejected his candidacy.

• In April 2017, Bogatova was accused under part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code (calls for terrorist activity or the justification of terrorism using the Internet) and part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code using part 1 of Article 30 of the Criminal Code (preparation for the organization of riots).
• After that, Bogatov was sent to the pre -trial detention center, and in July 2017, mathematics were transferred under house arrest. In January 2018, it became known that the forensic center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs did not find any evidence of Bogatov’s guilt. After that, he was released on a recognizance not to leave.
