The administration of the Tominsky rural settlement in the Chelyabinsk region refused to local environmental activists to conduct a picket against the construction of a mining and processing plant. The official reason for the refusal is the anticliard treatment of the territory, the Activatika portal reports .
The message in which the administration said that “forced to refuse” the picket, the organizers received after the event was agreed. It was supposed to go in front of the administration building on April 20. As an activist of the Local Movement “Stop GOK” Boris Zolotarevsky explains on his Facebook page, during an unofficial conversation with the head of the administration of the settlement Tatyana Golubitskaya, it turned out that they called “from above” and demanded to prevent the picket.
A letter signed by Golubitskaya says that anti -iclic treatment “provides for the use of insecticidal drugs containing toxic substances, which provides for the need to prohibit the territory undergoing processing, people and animals within a day from the date of processing”.
“Activatics” with reference to Zolotarevsky reports that the applicant of the event Olga Yakovets as a result at the appointed time stood near the administration building in a single picket. According to Zolotarevsky, several employees of the Center for Combating Extremism were attended. In addition, people who Zolotarevsky called the provocateurs from the RMK - the “Russian Copper Company” engaged in the construction of the plant were approaching the Yakovets. However, a single picket was calm.
