Theater.doc is looking for a room

In September, the rental term of the premises, where the Moscow theater “Theater.doc” is now expired, and it will have to move. The theater turned to the audience with a request to help find a new room.

This was announced in Facebook by playwright Mikhail Durnenkov. According to him, it would be ideal to place inside the garden ring. Another thing would come, but always next to the metro.

“The room should be in a non -residential building, with a separate entrance, without a bandwidth. Maybe, of course, the option is that this is a basement with its output, over which a store or something where there are no residents (as it was in three-breed), but it is still better if it is some kind of outbuilding, or some kind of rebuilt industrial building, ”wrote Durnenkov.

He added that the ceilings should be at least 3.5 m high, and the area of ​​the hall should be at least 70 sq.m.

Theater of documentary play "Theater. DOC ” was created as a non -state, non -profit, independent, collective project by playwright Mikhail Ugarov, Elena Gremina and Alexander Rodionov.

In 2002, they rented a premises in the basement of a residential building in Trekhprudny Lane, where the theater worked for 12 years. In the fall of 2014, the Department of Urban Property of Moscow unilaterally terminated the lease. At the end of the year, the theater moved to the premises on Spartakovskaya Street, but in May 2015 he was forced to leave it after the lease was terminated by the lessor.
