The driver from Yakutia was accused of trying to poison the policeman with mercury

The 39-year-old resident of the Yakut city of Tiksi was detained on suspicion of trying to poison the policeman with mercury out of revenge, according to the “unofficial mirror” of the Channel of the Investigative Committee in the “blocked” Telegram messenger.

According to the agency, the driver of the Tiksi airport poured mercury in the car of the head of the transport police, "in order to avenge criminal prosecution."

In the message on the website of the East Siberian Investigative Department of the IC, it is specified that on the evening of April 18, the suspect went to the garage of TISI Airport “in order to cause death to the head of one of the transport police units, out of revenge for bringing him to the police to criminal liability for the storage of property of one of the enterprises.” He poured mercury in the cabin of the service car.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 317 of the Criminal Code (an encroachment on the life of an employee of a law enforcement authority). The suspect was detained and taken into custody.
