One person died and one was injured at an opposition rally in Yerevan on April 23, Interfax reports citing the Armenian Ministry of Health.
A 36-year-old man, who had heart failure, died at the rally. After his condition worsened, he was hospitalized, but resuscitation work did not yield results, the Ministry of Health reported.
The victim turned out to be a teenager who lost consciousness during the rally and fell, having received injuries in the eye area.
The Ministry of Health also reported that seven people injured during the riots in Yerevan continue to remain in hospitals in Yerevan.
