Daria Polyudova and Kirill Kotov, who were detained on April 22 on Red Square, were subject to administrative violation reports under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure). Polyudovawrote about this on her Facebook page.
Polyudova and Kotov decided to honor the memory of Vladimir Lenin - he was born on April 22 (10), 1870. They held a series of single pickets at the monument to Karl Marx with posters “Lenin could do it, so can we!” There will be a revolution." After this, Polyudova and Kotov wanted to lay flowers at the Mausoleum, but they were not allowed to do this, since at that time a Communist Party event was taking place on Red Square.
In the evening, activists decided to try laying flowers again. The police took the flowers from them and took them to the Mausoleum themselves. Kotov took out the poster, and Polyudova took a photograph of it. After this, both were immediately detained by police officers, who took the activists to the Kitay-Gorod police station.
According to Polyudova, the police committed violations during the arrest: they examined the belongings of the detainees without witnesses, and did not give them copies of the protocols drawn up. Leaflets and a sticker dedicated to May 6 were confiscated from Kotov.
