About a third of the respondents expects positive and the same number of negative consequences for Russia, involved in the Syrian conflict, and every tenth is afraid of the world war.

Well, the most important question: how do we behave "in the event of the start of hostilities by the United States against the current Syrian authorities?" Two -thirds of compatriots (66%) are sure that Russia should provide military support to President Bashar Assad.

On the one hand, people are aware of what is happening in the distant Middle Eastern country, with all its alavites, shis, Sunnis and ISIS. There is a sober awareness that Syria is a quagmire in the middle of the desert, where it is better for us not to meddle. For the consequences are at least unpredictable. The most sane of the Russians, that is, traditional marginals, are not without reason that everything can end very badly. There is nowhere worse.

But when, on the other hand, our person is asked what to do, if the State Department encroaches on the remnants of the territorial integrity of Bashar Assad, then two -thirds of the pro -ancticated are expressed without reflection. We must, they say, fight for Syria against America. And it is burned with fire.

How to explain this? Theoretically, such an answer can be attributed to national pride in a good sense and an heightened sense of justice. Say, how dare these arrogant pindos to attack a sovereign state, besides an ally of the Russian Federation? However, sociologists from VTsIOM, either by negligence, or intentionally did not clarify the question. They did not ask under what conditions Trump would give the order to attack Assad.

The same one who synchronously accepts on faith and the obvious fact that the inhabitants of the Duma were poisoned by the Americans with the ISIS, and the undoubted truth that the chemical attack in Syria is an invention of overseas special services in order to humiliate and bomb our friend Assad. The hatred of such power that the planet is not sorry, both Russia and himself. If only to manage in America.

At the same time, especially ruthless, sociologists note, Russian men (76%) and people of the age group 60+ (75%) turn out to be. Apparently, these groups of citizens are mostly affected by the beneficial influence of the radioactive ash in the picture where America is demolished from the face of the Earth. They, as they say, fell in love with the bomb, giving the incredible strength of the verbal structure "Putin's nuclear electorate".

And in the bottom line, it turns out that these comrades, cool men and pensioners, are ready to sacrifice the lives of children, grandchildren and great -grandchildren not even for Putin, but for Bashar al -Assad. There are, among the respondents, in intersecting groups, if you compare the numbers, and those who are involuntarily treated with our intervention in the Syrian war, but for the sake of destruction of the Americans, the apocalypse. This is already some kind of special breed of people, bred in recent years, which you can’t understand - you will swallow arshin, trying to understand their logic, to comprehend the irrational.
