Elections are a worse trouble than fools and roads

You thought that our country has only two main troubles: fools and roads? You have been deceived, there is something worse-"elections." Rather, the fact that the authorities are sold under the guise of this important institution.

The vote itself is not difficult to ignore, but it is almost impossible not to encounter signs of its approach. During this period, power suddenly is simply pounced on citizens, frightening with its “care” and “love”.

Here is an example for you. Last year, the Tver City Duma was elected. Of course, it was at this time that our officials were concerned about the state of city courtyards. Coincidence? Certainly! The elections have nothing to do with it! They allocated budgets, excavated the yards, and set the stands that everything was about to be repaired. The logos at the stands, by the way, were so similar to the emblem of one of the parties that some gullible pensioners had been waiting for a long time in the courtyards of the appearance of deputies with shovels and at the wheel of an asphalt layer instead of a Mercedes. But this, of course, is again only a coincidence.

This natural disaster has passed, but what to do with the fact that the budgets were mastered, and the courtyards froze at the “dug-up” stage? And the elections are over, it will not see new ones yet. But officials, of course, are not to blame, because it is again just a coincidence.

And now the new Tver City Duma is allocating budgets for pre -repairing. And the Tverichi go and swear "it would be better if they did not start these repairs." No, but what? You must first make it worse, and then return everything as it was and declare that the problem is safely solved to relieve citizens.

So we live. Officials allocate budgets, affiliated faces master them, and we hobble in the digested courtyards, with horror guessing what other “improvements” we will come up with the upcoming elections.

What way out can be from this situation?

I am sure that there is nothing more effective than citizens themselves, residents of these yards to give control over the performance of work.
These are our territories, it is our habitat, our interests. So, on what grounds now ordinary citizens are completely removed from this process?!
