110 years ago, on April 28, 1908, Oskar Schindler was born - a German businessman who saved more than 1,200 Jews during the war and was ranked among the "Righteous Among the Nations" in Israel. By cunning and bribery, he rescued Jews from concentration camps as necessary workers in his factories.

Schindler sympathized with the Nazis for a number of years and even collaborated with the secret services of Nazi Germany. However, since 1942, realizing all the horrors perpetrated by the Nazi regime, as well as his involvement in Nazi crimes, Schindler took a humanistic position and began to defend the Jews without any benefit to himself.
